updating the website again. added a new fanlisting dedicated to the show the girls next door. it's a pain to create a new site, even if it's small. i still have a lot of work to do but i'm happy i'm getting back into webdesign. my next project will be updating the layout of the main site. i love the basic layout of it so i'll probably keep that, but change the colors, images, etc.

i removed a lot of the fanlistings i had joined because they no longer exist, so unless i can find more fanlistings for those things that i love, i'll be making a few more. one at a time though, one at a time. don't want to overwhelm myself! :)

so yeah, not much else to say at this time. oh, i do have a new email address, since leslie@sparklymonkey.com had been screwed up for such a long time. you can get my new email address from the email me link on the navigation frame.

once again, i fail at updating. not much has changed since the last update though, so i suppose it all works out in the end. still looking for a new job, still living in a condo with two cats and a dog. boring, i know.

i did go shopping today with my mother, which i haven't done in a very long time. and i don't mean going to the grocery store or walgreens shopping. i mean some serious mall walking. i needed to get out and do something fun though, and so did mom. and i needed new makeup. found some really great foundation at sephora in jcpenneys, along with some lip gloss (because i don't have enough..) and eyeshadow. and some of it was on sale so it only came up to like $40. oh and i got a long-sleeved t-shirt. really cute one, too. perfect for those chilly florida evenings. :)

we did finally make it to the grocery store but not before stopping home to have some lunch and stopping by this home decor place where apparantly my parents found a new sink-cabinet thing for the half bath. i saw the most amazing stuff in that store, like this two-foot tall buddha statue thing that was black with gold foiling.. it was gorgeous. $90 of gorgeous, to be exact. told mom to get it for me for christmas. she didn't like it much, there was another one she liked better, but it's my house so nyah! amirite?

what else... i should be sleeping... i'm thirsty and my water bottle is empty.. oh! reformatted my computer a few nights ago. after three freaking years i got so fed up i just said screw it and wiped the whole darn thing. it was good though. i backed up the important stuff like webpage files and pictures, but the rest of it i just didn't need anymore. hell, there were only a couple of programs i had on the computer before that i had to reinstall after the wipe. so that was probably the most exciting thing that happened all week. until today's shopping adventure, of course. time for sleep though.

i've let my website go for so long. i feel like it's almost a waste, so i'm going to attempt to update more often.

nothing terribly interesting happening in life. looking for a new job again. living in a condo with two cats and a dog. it's a dull existence, but it's simply and i like it. unlike my drama-laden past, the present is pretty low-key. and i like it that way.

so not long ago i got word of high school graduating class' ten year reunion. it's going to be next summer. wow, has it really been almost ten years since i graduated high school? sometimes it honestly feels like it was just yesterday. i still feel so young, much younger than 27. i don't think my brain has completely absorbed the fact that i'm closer to 30 than 20. i remember being in my teens and looking forward to my 20s so much, dreaming of all the fun and parties. and now, i really wouldn't mind going back for a day or two. i think about all the drama and the issues and i can't help but shake my head and laugh. kids, what do they know?
